Suicides

The gun she held,
Was aimed at herself,
What led her to such misery?
To make her not want to face reality?
Who hurt her so bad, that she could not let go?
Who made her lock up her heart?
And made her feel so alone?
Who took her earth and made it living hell?
Who had the right to make her take matters in her own control?
To make her pull the trigger just so she did not have to breath any more?

The knife he held,
Was sharper then hell,
Was tight against his skin,
Because his life he could not win,
So many people bringing him down
Who said those nasty words?
Who told everyone so many lies?
Made the whole school all against this one guy,
Who made him want to leave?
Who made him want to bleed; the knife cuts his skin because the life he never had.

The bottle of pills that she held,
Were more painful then she knew,
The headaches and pain that people put her through,
The abusing she survived,
The fist every night,
The tears that she cried,
The pain she always held,
Who gave you the right to hit her at night?
She took only four, hoping it will do the job,
They were more powerful then she knew, it would have only taken two.

The steps that he climbed,
1,000 steps high,
Who made him so tired?
To tired to life his life?
Who made him want to die?
Who made this lonely mad cry?
Who made his so alone?
To step up to the edge,
Who made this man,
Fall to his death?

Who gave you the right?
To make someone want to take their life?
To take a gun and pull the trigger tight,
To take a knife and made a deadly slice,
To take those pills and swallow one last time,
To make a man take a step too far,
To make him fall and not catch his lonely calls,
Who gave you the right of a life?
When you cause so many others to end,
Their suicides were their desperate lonely cries.
