Your Not the One

by Libby M   Feb 14, 2005

Don’t tell me I am beautiful
Don’t tell me how much You
Love the figure that resides within me
Don’t touch or brush away my hair
Don’t tell me I am the one
If you are not the one
The one for me

Search inside these eyes of mine
Look into them, hold your breath
Hold it-and try your best
To understand who I am
Look around you, look around what
Surrounds me
Learn about me, why don’t You?
Learn-so you would just be
A bit more gentle
with me, I need no more cries
I need no more tears to visit these
Eyes

Don’t tell me you want to call me
Don’t tell me how sweet my voice
Sound against your ear
Don’t tell me, don’t ask me to call you
At all-Don’t do any of the said things above
If You know that deep down inside, You are
Not the one for me

I’ve been hurt you see, so many times...
And I don’t know what more to say
What more to do-what more to learn
I don’t know who to trust, or what to trust
You all look the same, you speak the same language
And you hold the same tone-
I feel that same thing-the fear, the doubt
Your eyes looks like the others
Your tongue is filled with meaningless words
You want the same that they do-
Honesty is last on your mind

So! Don’t tell me I am beautiful
Don’t tell me how much you love
What I am-for you have no clue who I am
Don’t tell me I am the one
Don’t try to sell me your words
I will buy nothing from you
Because I see you like the rest-
You are alike-And I am nothing
But different from who You are-
So Satan-Stay away from This
Heart.
