Dying of Nothing

by Christy Carpenter   Feb 14, 2005

Tunnel vision sets in
I can only see the train
I believed in you,
But its not your fault,
for I am the one to blame.
I wither away
like the rose of a love long since past
But forget-me-not, my love
Because in this death, as I lay dying
I pledge my love
I will always be your nothing.
