Tempted

Often i am tempted to cut
i miss the numb feeling caused by a blade
the temptation is eating at my gut
and slowly my world seems to fade

one person and him alone
is my reason not to do so
and in his heart is my home
and if i could in his arms i would go

and if i could into his arms run
he would talk me through it and not let me be in denial
he would tell me its ok and he loves me
and and not cutting would be all worth the while
