Tear

Patiently waiting
alone in the dark
fighting back tears
how much it hurts

Hiding behind
a mask of gold
never would she
freely unfold

You were all that she had,
all that she hoped,
all that she wanted,
you helped her cope

She loved you so dearly
so dearly indeed
you kept her full
of harmony
Then it ended
you broke her heart
leaving her helpless
and all torn apart

The pain flowed back
it stabbed her so hard
she never saw it coming
it was shot from a-far

"Why don't you love me?,
What did i do?,
i always would have cared for you!"

She thought this almost every night
till the blade got the best of the fight

She dragged the razor across her wrist
surely keeping a tightly clenched fist

The blood came slowly
as well as the tears
Then it got worse
and in came the fears

She felt so alone
so alone, and un-loved
wished he were there
to give her a hug

She sat on the floor
thinking the past
she knew it was done
she could'nt go back

She then felt the end,
coming so near
so she closed her eyes,
without shedding a tear.
