Nobody knows me

Nobody really knows me,
Nobody even tries,
You can't get past the way I dress,
or my tear stained blue eyes.
You think you've got me figured out,
You think you're in my head,
But you can't get a thing from me,
so listen to what I've said..
I've tried so hard to smile,
To crawl out of my shell,
But what's the point of coming out,
When this world's a living hell.
So much weight I drag around,
So much heartache and pain,
I've tried so hard to let it all go,
But it all starts over again.
I wish somebody would save me,
To take this pain away,
But people never stay close,
They can't even last a day.
