Why Can't I.....

My dreams become haunted,
they deprive me of my sleep,
i toss and turn,
like i continue to burn,

it's sleep i want,
but no sleep i get,
my dreams still haunted,
i try to make the voices stop,

but they won't listen to me,
i beg and plead,
for them to pack up and leave,
but they don't,

they stay to this day,
screaming and yealling,
putting up a fight,
i know i won't get any sleep....
