You And I Are Through

by Eibutsina   Feb 19, 2005

It hurts even more, now that you know
But we can’t even talk for you to say so
Funny kind of, to see us lost for words
Can’t imagine how much your silence hurts…
For a while now I have carried this burden
Thought of our families, little one, didn’t want to hurt them
Sometimes you say it best when you say nothing at all
But where we lost so much touch I just can’t recall…
With this news and this pain I am unable to share
No indication of what you feel if you even care
It’s as much your problem as it is mine
We’ll have to talk soon we’re running out of time…

It’s not even talking but just another argument
I’m ruining your life you say with such resentment
But did you forget what got us both into this situation
Not just me, and you know it, we shared an infatuation…
You knew it was hard but that I could conceive
Now that you have the result and typically want to leave
And its alone, you expect me to deal with this mess
It’s supposed to be a gift and I’m supposed to feel blessed…
You’re old enough to make up your mind
As I mentioned before there is that matter of time
Regardless of what we end up deciding to do
There’s no chance for us, you and I are through…

Great Job Eirisa! I have to say when I read poems that you write for your friends and put yourself in their shoes you come out with such masterpeices!! I love how you say it wasn't only your fault cause he got you in that mess too..isn't that the truth!! Amazing Job once again..I hope your friend as well as yourself can push through all these stuggles and keep a smile on your beautiful faces! 5/5 as always!

Not me Tabbie but yeah about a friend of mine who very close to my heart, I feel what she is going thru and wrote this, I tried to not say directly that it was about pregnancy, symbolising how she didn't want to say it or admit either ...anyhow thanks for your comment!
