Clearly Forgotten

The person she is waiting for is gone but not to her
Everyday she waits for her to come back to save her
Day after day she waits, many came to ask why?
She just said in a sad voice..
"I'm waiting for her to come back and save me from this place"
Everyone thought she was stuck in a fairy tale but to her it was all so real.
The girl never came for her its been a long wait on those steps,
She finally realized that she had to get up and start walking.
She found herself at Heaven's Gates being welcomed by the girl who she thought clearly had forgotten her.
The girl asked why she hadn't came sooner?
She replied i thought u were coming for me
The things u value the most in life are the ones u accomplish yourself, thats why i couldn't come for you...the girl replied
As she handed the girl her wings she asked "are you sure u want to leave behind your friends and family?"
She answered with a "no, i think i will give it another chance, but will they welcome me like you did?"
I'm sure they will you are nice, caring and generous, I'm just sorry you had to wait so long.
