Dance with me

by Tainted Butterfly   Feb 21, 2005

Thunder rolled
Lightening came
Puddles grew
I called your name.

Come with me
Take my hand
Let's just be
Understand?

Dance with me
In this rain
Laugh with me
Let's be insane

This night is ours
We're all alone
Close your eyes
We're almost home

Heaven's cried upon us
We chose to dance
Round and round
Lost in our romance

Just you and me
No other in this town
Laughing, happy,
As the rain fell down.

"So tired of the straight line, And everwhere you turn, There's vultures and thieves at your back. And the storm keeps on twisting, you keep on building the lie, that you make up for all that you lack. it don't make no difference escaping one last time. it's easier to believe in this sweet madness oh this glorious sadness. that brings me to my knees. in the arms of an angel fly away from here."

after I read that, I knew you would be a good poet and I was not wrong!! good job.
