Daddy Doesn't Want Us

by Hannah   Feb 21, 2005

Mommy why are you crying?
Aren't you excited I'm coming?
Daddy doesn't seem happy
Why'd he say he'd be better off dying?

I only wanted him to love me
Hold me in his arms
Teach me how to play baseball
Pick me up when I'd fall

Mommy don't you want me?
I hear you in the night
I know you cry a lot
Because you're full of fright

Mommy I'm sorry daddy hit you
That's something I wish he wouldn't do

Mommy I wish I could help you
I'm sorry I can't save you
There's just nothing I can do

Mommy I'm not feeling very well
Ever since the other day when daddy hit you and you fell

Mommy the day I was born
The doctors took you away
I don't know why but I haven't Seen you since that day

Mommy I was laying down
The doctors all ran in
They placed their soft warm hands
On my cold skin

Mommy finally we're together
In a place far away
Finally daddy can't hurt you
We're both here forever to stay

Mommy I love you so
And I'll never let you go
