Devils Wing

by ThEpAgOn1   Feb 22, 2005

In the mirror I see
Something I don't believe
He calls my name
and says there's no fear
" Take that blade child and hold it tight. For pain is what you feel. I can take it away. I can make you feel better if only you will stay."
I grabbed the blade as he told me to do
I put it to my wrist and let it slide.
I pain I couldn't feel.
The blood was bitter sweet.
As I drug the blade across my white pale skin, it pulls and it tugs
and I feel it's too late.
The room then spins
His face is grinning
His laugh is all around
As I begin to slip down
Under the devil's wing i sit
Crying and dying with every slit
He told it would be okay and took his word.
Now I am one with him
his child he bared.
For now I sit on that top stoop
And I watch for my prey.
In the mirror I see
Something I don't believe
He calls my name
and says there's no fear
