In every last moment
I think of your smile,
and dream of time spent with you -
even just a little while.

I remember your touch,
and even when I’m satiated
it’s never enough.

I remember your kiss,
and feel against my skin
the brush of your fingertips.

I remember how you held me
and I yearn for your arms,
the security you gave me
keeping me safe from harm.

You slayed my dragons for me
and you chased away my fears,
you mended all my hurts,
and you kissed away my tears.

In every last moment
I long for ever after,
I swear I’ll love you
now and forever.

In every last moment
I dream that you too,
would say those words,
those words to me, from you.

I forget all my shortcomings,
and I forget all my pains,
I remember the love and the laughter,
the taste of the rain.

I remember how we danced,
and how we kissed -
I wonder if you know
just how much you’re missed?

I love you forever,
I dream of you so -
I’ll never forget you
I just want you to know,

In every last moment
I feel you against me,
and I feel alive again -
and I want to be.

Every time I wake,
and every time I sleep.
Every time I dream
it’s of you and me.

Every minute is a lifetime

but still I’m here waiting,

I don’t know where you went
but I dream of you,
