Dawn

by ~Kady~   Feb 22, 2005

Dawn is drawing near, I heard the morning bird sing
No, I not yet long for day, for I had not yet time for sleeping
Being forced to stay up all hours
By a mother who hardly show she cares

I feel drowsy...in a deep sickening way
Who knows, maybe I am sick
But mother wont believe what I say

I pick myself up from the computer
To go to-wards my humble bed
Yet I stumble on the way there
In hopes that later, I will not dread

Goodnight dear morning, I will see you soon
Today I will sleep in classes, and have much homework due
Goodnight dear brain, I hope you\'re well before noon
Sleep well my mind...sleep well, even you......

*I didn\'t know what to say in the last sentence...forgive me...*
