Accepting

Some one once told me
to act like a blade of grass
blowing in the wind
accepting every day to that will pass

acceptance is not an easy thing
accepting something i have no control over
accepting what i don't want to believe is true
accepting there is gonna be a life with out you

they say what goes around comes around
then i guess i got a lot coming for me
i wish i could be forgiven
i wish i could be set free

i am but a cactus
all alone and in the middle of no where
no one around
no one to care

i just have to accept what Ive done
after all I'm the only one to blame
i should try to move on
be rid of this shame

one day
hopefully soon
the sun will shine through
one day
ill be able to say
I'm finally over you
