The Saved Death

Lonely nights alone
With just me and my blade
The scars up my arm
Tell the story that fades.

Walking up to school
Put the fake smile on my face
Covering up my arms
So people don't disgrace.

No one ever loved me
No one ever cared
No one ever knew the pain
I felt when I was scared.

And one night I was alone
And I figured I should die
Writing my suicide note
And then sat and started to cry.

The cell phone started ringing
A number I never knew
When I picked it up
I couldn't believe it was you.

You knew things were happening
You understood the pain I was thru
And then you finally said
"Baby, I love you."

You quickly hung up the phone
And I sat there in disbelief
Someone understood
And actually did love me!

I threw the note in the fire
And put my blade away
Not to come out
Until another day.
