Reflection of Nobody

by Pianist   Feb 27, 2005

In the mirror I see
a reflection of Nobody.
His smile has faded.
Too long has he waited.

In the mirror I stare
at those eyes with no care.
They have lost all their light,
which once glowed so bright.

In the mirror I find
the thoughts of his mind.
The cares of one
have turned into none.

In the mirror I wonder
how far he's gone under.
One single tear
for his life full of fear.

In the mirror I look
at the life that he took.
His arms are bleeding,
as Nobody's pleading.

In the mirror I hide
for that's where he died.
A single sharp knife
ended Nobody's life.
