Poison Raindrops

by Foresaken_Tears   Feb 27, 2005

A sheet covers this window
from which i gaze below
At all the crisp, white people,
In their soft blankets of snow,

But its not them that I think of
as a tear rolls down my chin
And the rain rolls down my window
whilst my patience wears so thin.

My mind has lost all focus
I cant breathe deep inside,
Or bear thoughts of the eternity
Into which you've died.

When I conjure up your face today,
I cannot see your smile,
just a body - closed for all to see,
No spirit that ran wild.

Now the snow's turned to icy water ,
That pricks upon the skin,
Of the people on the streets down there,
Evoking hate within.

My tears mix in with every drop,
I cry for you in vain,
And everything you've left behind,
Stands in this poison rain.

My God, your talent is amazing. You put so many emotions into your work, and it always turns out perfect. I'm sorry that you're feeling down, though.
