I bet you don't know what it's like

by angelposer   Feb 28, 2005

I bet you don't know
What it's like
To hate yourself so much
That you get so mad and furious
At yourself
And at God
For making you
That you scream and twist in your sheets

I bet you don't know what it's like
To just sit alone in your room
And carve into your arm
Because you feel so desperate
And giggle at the crimson blood oozing out of your cuts

I bet you don't know what it's like
To come to the point
That you have so much pain
In your heart
That it no longer pumps blood
But hate and sadness

I bet you don't know what it's like
To be crazy enough
To relieve your own pain
By inflicting pain on yourself
Over and over again

Because if you did know
Then maybe you would be able to understand us.

i know how you feel, i was once like that, if cutting yourself helps you with your pain, im sorry to say this, but there is something wrong with you. i cant stand it when people do that, i used to do it then i found out that it was hurting me more then helping me. well nice poem.
