A throne has been taken out
I am released from an old stress
From someone who is “center” of the universe
I am free from his grasp
I can finally breathe again

He is gone and I hope for good

On someone who doesn’t appreciate
Finally my lungs can breathe fresh air
No more funk from the boy’s breath

Freedom from interrogation
Freedom from his eyes always wanting

Free now and so happy with out you
I never liked you like that
But you cling to me like I wasn’t going to live tomorrow
You always needed my attention and time
You took a part of my life
Throwing yourself in my life without permission
But you are finally gone
And the stone attached to my heart
