An Angel’s traveled Path

Please comment and vote...Id love to hear from you

and so I traveled the miles
and I saw the horror
in every child’s eyes;
the hopeless scattered;
the needy asking;
the meander wondering
about the days that
might or might not
come ahead.

every eye watches
as their protector
gets shot by the it’s
enemy.
and so- another cry is loudly
heard-as another child
begins to physically slip away

and so I traveled another mile
to see-and I saw you and I watching
Watching it all happen all over again;
our protector too, the Man
He watches as it all unfolds.
we watch the innocent lives
We watch as they are trapped under
one roof;
the enemy watches too and laughs
as he begins to plan
his next deadly move.

my soldier dies for you and me;
he dies every day-he faces danger
so we won’t have to-
he faces such enemy
so we can peacefully fall asleep.
my soldier watches painfully;
as many at his side, around him
begin to fall.
children, adults
and men walking in his
shoes-He watches
all of them as they die.

My soldier-all Soldiers
They are strong you see-
They do not entertain
failure-nor do they join the death dance.
they keep on fighting-till the end.

and so I traveled on another mile
and two, and three-
I finally spotted him-I saw him at last
I saw my soldier as I traveled
I watched him shiver
on his cold lonely nights;
I watched him pray everyday;
I watched him speak Jesus’ name;
and my heart broke into million
pieces as I saw him cry away
his pain.

asking God to forgive him
for taking so many lives away.
he cries to the almighty
as he explains why and when...
I sat beside him-
And I held his hand
I told him Jesus loves you
and Jesus understands
someday-we will win
this ugly war of life-I quietly said.
We will rejoice with the almighty-
When this ugliness is set in its place.
Just hold my hand Soldier-
You will be just fine-
I am the angel that God sent me
To remind you that God will always
Be beside you-to safeguard you, and Protect you
And most of all-to remind you
That He Loves You and Always will.

I gathered my belongings, and I spread out
My wings-He watched me and gave me his Letter
And asked me to give it to My King...
I smiled and flew away to travel for another day-
I watched him still as I flew away-In his letter
He wrote-Thank You Father For Protecting Me
I love You Jesus Now and forever-And know
I wait the day to see You in Heaven with the
rest of My fellow Soldiers....

And so I traveled another mile to see....
What every eye dares not to see.

LIbby.

    That was an awesome poem.
    I also wanted to comment on the comment you left for Jeff. It was wonderful. ou are correct in saying life doen't just get better on it's own. It is when we finally decide to trust God is when we are going to see the changes we desire in our lives. Thank you for telling others about Him.
    Take care and God bless you!! :o)

    Libby, Such a beautiful poem with so much meaning. Our soldiers sacrifice so much to try to keep us safe. Absolutely beautiful, hugs, lol, *Ann*
