Faithful friend

I have a faithful friend
his name is Elijah Moishe
I know he'll always be there
when I need him night or day.
No matter what my day brings
be it hetic or just plain rough
he always greets me with a kiss
it seems he can't get enough.
He loves me unconditionally
no doubt his love is true
his love is always there
to help me make it through.
I love this faithful friend of mine
with all my heart and more
a greater friend I could never find
nor have I known before.

He's my Boxer,
but he's more than just a dog...
he truly is my friend.
I don't know what I'd do without him.
