Confusion

by Tinkerbell   Mar 1, 2005

Raindrops falling from my eyes,
Smiles long faded away,
Nightly hours pass away,
while confusion occupies my mind.

Each day the same routine,
From morning's anxiousness,
To the night's continued discontent,
Nothing ever changing.

Dreams of simpler days,
Praying for some change,
Overcome with wonder,
Not knowing what's the purpose.

Starting to throw all hope away,
No more faith in better days.
Don't think there is a point,
To even continue to try.

Wishing for the final closing,
Wanting all the fears to fade.
Knowing there's no future,
Overcome with confusion.
