Masked Liar

He said he’d never hurt me
He said he’d never make me cry
But now im hurting more than ever
It must have been all a lie

There comes a time in everyone`s life
Where you don`t know who to believe
`Cause the one you have trusted for so long
Is the one who is just about to leave

I don’t know what to think
I don’t know what to say
But the pain inside is building
And its hurting more each day

Sometimes I think to myself
Why did I let this occur
I give my heart up too easily
And once again, everything`s a blur

Not only has my heart been broken
It`s been shattered along with my trust
I gave myself to a person
Who just wanted me for lust

He`s so good at lying
And now I know it`s true
This has just proven to me
That I wasn`t meant for you
