Walked away in sadness

I walked inside this alley
the one where we first met
tears begin to fall
my sleeve is soaken wet

the only thing in my head
was how could you do this to me?
left me for your own problem
how could you set me free

i could've helped you through it
i would've been by your side...
whatever it was just tell me
our sadness will combine

i go hide in the darkest spot
so no one will see me cry
suddenly i hear footsteps
like someone passing by

i see you walk on by
with your head looking down
then you look up at the sky...
then quickly look back down

you said something to yourself
then out of nowhere started crying
tears fell down my cheek also
as i slowly felt like dying...

we both came to our senses
met back up at the same spot
all the time wed come here...
when we would be mad or when we fought

i walked up next to you...
stared into your eyes
you hugged me, pulled me close
and said your last goodbye

why do you have to leave?
i could help you out!
i will be right by your side...
you just tore me inside out?
