Remembered

I have given my soul to the world
And I am given nothing in return
No one noticed that I was missing
Everyone forgot me when I was gone
I guess I wasn’t that important

I have done what I could do be remembered
But it looks like I’ll die alone again

Don’t even bother to ask who is missing

The point of my existence
Is to make everyone else shine brighter
To make your world seem a little better
By making my life as shitty as possible
And die with out the appreciation that I deserve

Don’t bother asking what happened to that girl
That girl who always smiled at you
Because there was nothing there between her and anyone
She knew none cared
So don’t ask the question

“Do you remember that girl? I wonder where she is?”

Because I know you really don’t care.
