Time Marches

by The Flame Within   Mar 5, 2005

As time marches our bodies decay
We loose hair and the color fades away
Realizing more that soon is Judgmentday
And for our crimes we must pay
Then again, who are we to stay

This world is nothing, it leads to an end
It gives us wounds that we cannot mend
It makes us hesatint to make a new friend
Its what makes the bombs that we send
And the money we never lend
And how we just pretend
That this world just will never end

But death is when it begins because after this life there is another
Where there no hatred but true lovers
Where we are all sisters and brothers
where there is not pain and no one suffers

This my friends i call Heaven
And it is as real as 7/11

But if there is a Heaven....then there is a Hell
But that is another story that i will some day tell

*Speechless* You know, you really are an amazing poet. I mean your poems could make a book someday, and I would buy it. That's how much I like your poems.
