Shattered legs and heart

by Sexy Guy ~ Sexier than ever!!!   Mar 6, 2005

I sit in my wheel chair,
And just reminisce,
The horrible accident,
And the sport that I miss.
With deepest despair
I remember the day,
When the car hit me down,
And went off someway.
The driver never caught,
Has ruined my life,
The unlawful speeding
Has caused me this strife.
I was going to be an athlete,
Heading for the Olympic games,
But now I get stared at
and called horrible names.
4 years ago the accident occurred,
I was nearly dead,
I was in hospital on machines,
To breathe and to be fed.
I wasted a month,
in the coma, out cold.
I was lifeless, dying,
My family was told.
But I fought and won,
The struggle with death,
Regained arm movement,
my speech and my breathe.
But I never regained my legs,
I can no longer walk,
I can’t do that much,
But I’m so glad I can talk.
So all I do know is write rhymes,
that people read,
Some that they bag,
But I still can succeed.
My goal in life is to pen,
the words that matter,
Like these words about what
made my whole life shatter.

***This story is true, enjoy.***
