Disconnection

A simple disconnection
The access is denied
Words can no longer be written
Unable to say hello
Connection lost

Friendship held by a line
A thread that can be cut
Called in and canceled
Or just plain denied access
Then the pain rises again

Patience lost
Tempers risen
Pain gathering
Words not forming
Lost in thought

Nothing to say
Afraid they might leave
Just because of a wire
That holds the friendship together
Watching it be cut away

A simple disconnection
Where the access is denied
No longer speaking
No longer typing
The pain will stay

Afraid of good bye
Found something that’s the same
And now it’s leaving
Yet will remain the same
