Transitions From Love to Lust

by blackheartinlove   Mar 8, 2005

Bitter cold,
Winter-filled breath,
Once so warm,
And held by all so dear.

As-if it were a dream,
One moment so deciding,
Your heart, your soul,
Seems as if it has lost all desire.

Transitions from love to lust,
Better wanting, then having,
Holding hearts so tight,
Leaving one for the deceiving.

Only one holds too tight,
Wishes upon too many stars,
Can you blame there doting hearts,
They think you're the one.

Endless worries,
Leave them hanging,
Wished to be loved forever,
They have no more.

They held you close,
Souls combine,
They fight for yours,
You say it's fine.

One kiss you debate,
Leaves them only tears,
One moment you seem fine,
The next are their greatest fears.

The love they have,
They lust you see,
Nothing will help them,
When it's you that has to leave.

Cautious hearts that never heal,
Open wounds will never seal,
In this place of lost desire and lust,
The blackest tears fall tonight.

My conclusions on made on this night were correct. The love was lost.. and within days, I had my heart broken.
