Of Two Bards

by Brad Champagne   Mar 8, 2005

A blessing and a curse they share
Few understand and less yet care
Their hearts upon their sleeves they wear
While suffering this cruel affair

Mortal love far from their hold
Yet they seek God's power bold
When lesser hearts and minds shall fold
Those two remain as bright as gold

Honor is their code and way
They'd gladly give their life for you today
As the Lord hath done we may
Save the sinners from their pay
