War of Two World

by Just Sierra   Mar 9, 2005

All the screams of thousands of people
A means of death and destruction
Murmurs about a good lord
Lies of a total corruption

A lie that spread like dominoes
Clouds of black and gray
Cries of mercy from the dead
Murderers quench their thirst to slay

Bodies strewn near and far
All tied together in large knots
Their skin deteriorating
Rotting with scratches and spots

While all of hell breaks loose
Raining fire and hail
The dry ground, like a human body
Withers itself stale

Each of the dead wanders about
Reaching for redemption and liberation
Their cries are never answered
There is no salvation

The mortally wounded, dieing in pain
All hide in their burning sheds
Women and children foolishly hide
In their tattered beds

But everyone is shaking with fear
The ground gives out beneath
As hell’s angels are released
Vampire’s fangs slid from their sheath

All of the Earth will fall down
Crumble at the hands of God
Innocent believers are brutally dieing
But everything is awed

Then the silence fills the land
Everything staying still
Dead men smiled at the thought
At the conqueror on the hill

From the top of his lungs
He shouted to all the earth’s end
“Say goodbye the life you knew.
For in my home, your pain will never mend.”

No man, dead or alive
Dared to meet his face
For they could sense the evil in his voice
The evil that radiated from this place

And just when all of faith was lost
There, a thousand men unified
The cutters, the believers, thieves, and deceivers
All mourning from the tears they cried

Then the bravest of them all
Joined them from the clouds
His presence soothed and parted
The chaos in the crowds

The one we knew
Only ever too well
He came to lead us all
Away from the grasp of hell

But even I, cannot tell
For it is up to you
It depends on who you are
And what you’re going through

But if you end your life too quickly
And end up like the forsaken
Hell’s defenders and killers
Because of the life you’ve taken

Break one soul
Tear it apart
Leave it unholy
Without a heart

All I know is what I was told
That the battle was never done
Because the sides were left uneven
No one ever won

(This is one of my lesser good ones. I wrote this out of depression when my parents tried to take away P&A from me AGAIN!! and, yah, they made up some bull crap lie about how they were giving me back P&A because they thought that this site was helping me improve on my poetry so much, it would be a shame to take it away, when in reality, my nana spent the entire night yelling at my mom to give it back to me. Talk about a battle. Anyway, I don't know why I didn't realize that it was a lie to begin with because my parents don't read my poetry due to the fact that its too "Depressing," which it might be, but hey, parents are SUPPOSED to be there for support. Mine aren't.)
