A Chance

When I look at the stars,
I imagine you.
My imagination takes me away,
Away to a place that is perfectly harmonious,
Nothing ever goes wrong.
I'm never sad, or frustrated.
My problems go away...
When I think of you.
You've changed my life,
More than you'll ever know.
When I am with you,
There's no greater feeling in the world.
It's almost as if the world stops moving.
Time stands still.
You attract all of my attention,
Even when you're nowhere to be found.
The sound of your voice,
Has no words to describe it,
It\'s like the food for the famished.
You cause all this joy,
And yet you cause pain.
I ponder of you constantly,
But I know deep down,
You're out of my reach.
I can't have you as I oh so desperately want to.
I sit and hope for a chance,
A chance with you.
But until then,
I will wish for the day,
When you will be mine.
