Eternal ship

Lost in your heart,
Where beauty is to wander,
Like the flower among flowers,
Your beauty is withheld in the latest of hours,
As the sun sets to let the moon rise,
At the pace of your heart beat,
Time slows to keep your beauty,
To only see painted skies,
While the reflection of your sight is set free,
Cast across the ocean to endless tides,
Whipping across the sands,
Leaving its everlasting mark,
Changing the feelings we had inside,
Our lives being a wandering bark,
Which is lost at sea and set in confusion,
Wishing a wind would set us on the right course,
To take us home and grasp us from this unfamiliar illusion.
