Cold and lifeless?
Or pinned to the ground
That’s the question I ask
Though no one’s around

I’m stunned and fallen
As they leave me here
And as I ponder this
My eyes holds a tear

Why’m I abandoned?
By the ones that I trust
I ask while I struggle
I only do what I must

Necessity means nothing
To people so vain
I can’t help myself now
Just writhe here in pain

Just then I feel giving
From the chains ‘round my wrists
And I break loose, at last
Then flex my fists

I’m so close to it, now
The taste is so sweet
I’m ready, relentless
As I spring to my feet

Revenge will be mine
In a moment or so
I’ve waited so patiently
So now it’s their turn to go

I’ll torture them back
Let them see what I’ve known
Skull-splitting nightmares
From a mind not my own
