The Dream

I had a dream last night
a vision oh so clear
Thinking of it now
only brings a tear

It was late at night
and we were laying on the beach
as we gazed at the stars
they seamed barely out of reach

I could see the reflection
of the moon in your eyes
oh how it seamed to sparkle
as it slowly began to rise

The stars lit up your face
reveling your beautiful smile
making your eyes glisten
as we lade there for a while

you leaned in to me
embracing me with a kiss
how could anything more wonderful
ever compare to this?

as we laded there in the sand
the stars lit up your face
you gently touched my hand
and my heart started to race

you put your arms around me
hold me ever so tight
yet so gentle
in the midst of the night

we quietly laded there
in the silence we said it all
not through words but through memories
as we lay here and recall

how this past year has so amazing
with you here by my side
and just being there beside me
though every stride

But suddenly everything becomes blurry
you i can no longer see
i slowly begin to awake
and see you lying next to me

Then suddenly i realize
that my dream is now a reality
because i know that I'm yours forever
and will always be
