Decisions

by darkgrl21   Mar 11, 2005

I sit and stare
at what's left of my home
One wall stands before me
everything else is gone.

The police and family question me
they think I'm telling lies
I swear I never heard you
I never heard your cries.

They got here to late to save you
They got me out instead
I can only hear the sirens
I see your face in my head.

You were my soul mate
we took vows for life
But I promise I'll see you soon
I'll make all this right.

I can't live without you
it's so hard to believe you're dead
And I can't bring you back
so I'll join you instead.

It will only be a minute now
we will be together soon.
I'm going to pull the trigger now
My life is not worth living,
without you.

This was so sad, but full of feeling like all your work, stay strong and continue writing, your words bring the reader into your world and i believe we all learn something from it, i have rated this 5 because so many will relate to it and because i think you are very talented.
    Take good care.
