Stop It

She would hit me with a paddle
a shoe that made me rattle

It wasn't out of discipline
The pain you causes, I'm not sure where to begin

I am not sure why you think you are my mother
I felt more love come from any other

But you, you did it when you where upset because Dad didn't come home
I felt scared when you took care of us and we where alone

That is my past that you force me to have
I look back at it and now i laugh

I am bigger then you, so don't even try
I am tired of you hitting my face and making me cry

Those days are over, that little boy is gone
I want you to know what you did to my family is wrong

There are some scars worse then what you can do with a blade
Like leave hurtful memories that will never fade

If i have kids, i will never cause them pain
Because i will remember you, and what you did in those days
