Look at Her

Look at her,
Tell me what do you see?
A different life is what she’d prefer.

She hates her life,
Has few friends,
Living full of unbearable strife.

With her mom she has no connection,
With her dad there is little to speak of,
How she longs for their affection.

She wanders through the days.
Deprived of a normal life.
Everything is just a haze.

Nothing is clear,
No goals or aim,
Its all hidden behind that tear,

So tell me, what do you see?
I see my reflection looking,
Looking back at me.
