It

by Julia   Mar 12, 2005

There it lies;
Through tangled black hair...

As though to hide...

A twisted face,
A sorrowed sigh,

A bitten lip,
Still sore from cries...

A silenced voice,
Hidden deep inside...

And worst of all,
Pain never dies,

In the faintest stare...

Of two brown eyes.

    Uhhh...shivers down my spine. That is so freaky. I had the image stuck in my mind for a couple moments. A great poem! I love it. You're on my faves. Keep up the good work!
