Lifeless Passion

by Julia   Mar 15, 2006

Maybe Id find a whisper
Maybe Id find a thought
Id stay their for a little while
And live to plot and plot

A word which I could scream in
A verse where I could drown
A song where I could rule the word
Yet never leave a sound,

A sentence to acknowledge
Without I leave a care
A soul where I could melt my own
And leave it gaping there

That scraggly little fellow
May walk the empty streets
Yet never will he finish,
While my sunset yet completes

I see it it know
It left me here
The sun without
A moon

Acknowledge my past
Devourer my fears
Hide ye in thousand ash
Of lifeless, blackened dunes

The dawn awakes
I cry my last
The sun will see no more

And then and then
And gone again
A thousand hateful wounds.
