More Than One

Why did you lie to me?
What did I do to you?
All I did was love you,
And tell you all the truth.
Why did I believe you?
I tell myself inside.
I feel my heartbeat fade,
As I tell my love goodbye.
I wish that we could talk it out,
To see what we could do.
But baby I can't trust you,
Cause one lie can turn to two.
Well hopefully some day will come,
To Where we could be friends.
But it will take more than one lie, For our love to come again.
