Hidden Agony

Spinning webs of lies to hide behind
Suicidal thoughts swimming in your mind
Not willing to show the world the feelings deep in your heart
Inch by inch its tearing you apart

The fake smiles and the absence of happiness in your eyes
Still you hide yourself behind your lies
Insisting that you are fine but inside you're screamin
Telling the world you're happy when it's your death you're dreamin

Hiding your tears behind a mask, your not okay but you're afraid to tell a soul
Haunted by the memories of a past love, where you played the fool
You try to ignore the pain but its growing unbearable
Insisting your life is great, when its terrible

You bottle your tears in a vial and throw them away
But they come back to haunt you the next day
You feel alone even in a crowded room
Like a star trying to shine your light past the moon

Yet you don't say a word, trying so hard to live on
Putting off a image to hide behind, you try to live on
Afraid to utter a word, because in your mind no one would listen
Telling people you have everything, telling you mind happiness is the only thing you're missing
