Flaming fire,,and desire

by Hurtingsoul   Mar 13, 2005

Walking on the edge of flaming fire
Taught that either life or death isn’t my desire
That maybe crying pain and lonely heart
Only came from my beginning start
So that suicide is not the answer
Nor is living a bystander
This edge taught that a knife only adds pain
But not releasing pain brings the outrage
Of the anger that is contain
Leaving all its slaves in vain
Which either way brings the content of strife
That is lived by the frustrating sight
Of looking in the mirror and seeing a broken soul
Which is me that learned to live in darkness hole
But the flaming fire never burned out
Or my screams that shout

This means that after all the abuse that conflicted
Of physical or at heart from words
A faith is still committed
To survive all grounds that a cruel world brings
Between UN endless pain or torturing fears
Some voices are still with hope and sings
And chirps of a searching they wait, of tears,
Tears that will end forever
No longer I will walk this edge
Reasonably cause it will get better
And gone the flaming fire on this ledge

So walking on the edge of flaming fire
Taught me that looking for hope, is my desire………

  • Hey, i liked this poem alot. I liked the rhyming, it seemed random but it still read really well.
The poem focused on the reason behind you writing instead of trying to get everything to rhyme perfectly.

Thanks for your comment, i really appreciate it !!
