Past to Forgive

You took my life
And left only pain
A 12 year old kid
Going insane

You were a friend
I was a child
What is abuse
Anything but mild

Past is the past
But how do you forget
Depression from shame
In the mind it is set

I can choose to forgive
But it seems to hard
I will only move forward
If I choose this card.
