Take down my broken shell
Repair it if you like
This misty air has caught my breath
The light here seems so bright

Whirl my solid edge…
Into something smooth
Do not speak a single word
Do not even move

This silence here is soothing…
Upon a tired mind
Take care to fasten all the ties
Don’t leave me behind

Break this hardened mould of mine
Carve me into something new
Cleanse away this dirt inside
And let my soul renew

Blow the clouds away from me
Away into the distance
I am here for only you
There won’t be any resistance

These lights twinkle fast…
They’re lighting up my eyes
Sparking up my very soul
The dark in which it lies

Touch my broken skin…
With those words so sweet and pure
Lay me down beside you now
You’re what I’m living for

And when the shadows move…
Across our souls tonight
Remember as we fade away
