Lost happiness

by Shadowed_Thoughts   Mar 13, 2005

A bloody patchwork
written across my body
a pain hidden from the world

frowns hidden with smiles
scars hidden beneath wristbands
bloody tears wiped away quickly
brown eyes hiding her sorrow
mascara tears that no one sees

oceans flowing from her wrist
this is her escape
a simple note to say goodbye

she gently sits the wristbands and bracelet's next to
the bloody knife and a blood stained note

one last tear before she goes
no more crying herself to sleep
or hiding the real her
maybe now they will understand
