She gazes out her window
Her eyes are set on me

I wonder what she's thinking
I wonder what she sees

I wonder if she's hated
Or loved a man before

Has she ever seen the mountains
Has she seen the ocean's shore

I wonder if she's been kissed
Or how many times she has cried

How many time has she seen the sunset, how often has she lied

Has she seen a snowy winter
Has she seen an aubrun fall

Has she seen a summer swallow fly
Has she seen a caterpillar crawl

Has she ever had a girlish crush
How many times has she done wrong

Does she have a secret wish
Has she ever sung a song

Just as fast as she came
She's gon in a blink of an eye

Her life, her story, her secrets known
The girl in the car passing by
