Rings of Fire

by Kylead   Mar 14, 2005

Ring of fire all around me
I don’t know how
I don’t know why!
But they are here with me
Burning me consistently with every step I take

The scorching flames hurt so, bad but it’s always the same
When I try to escape
The fire always catches up with me
Proving I can’t run from it.

When I try to hide
It seems the fire has a map leading it to me
Because when ever I think its safe
My foundation is shaken
The fire has found me and flames arise form beneath my body

These flames constrict my body
Like a wild typhoon of fire

As I am engulfed in fire
I am burnt till my body falls frail

Long after I’ve fallen
My eyes ease open
And awake to find myself all but broken
Now I wait for the pattern to repeat

Finally I’ve regained the strength to speak
I let out a weak scream
Everything has been taken
My life
My pride
My love my heart
My soul
All swallowed by the rings of fire

The fire destroyed my life
My pride ripped from me into the fire
My love ruined my the anger inspired by the fire
My heart burnt black
My soul faded when I gave up

Now I ask anyone
Save me
Extinguish these rings of fire
Release me from damnation

Let me die happy.

please rate this it took me a long time to get it right
