Dont let yourself fall

by cant sleep   Mar 14, 2005

When I told him that I\'d do it,
He didn't believe me.
Like usual,
He just shrugged off my threat
Like a leaf
Fallen from a tree onto your arm.
He never took me seriously.
Never.
Which made my pain worst.
The only think in my life,
That I had even dared to love,
Doesn't believe me.
Of course,
I never learned my lesson.
He’d always scream and yell at me
Those horrible days he’d be angry for no reason
Then push me aside,
Like an old rag doll.
As though I mean nothing.
To him or the world.
But I became stronger.
Mental and physical.
And that threatened him
In some way I can not explain.
Constantly he\'d try and try
To put me down
And make me sink lower,
Than I already have in life.
But he pushed me too hard.
He should know,
That if you push something
One day,
It\'s bound to push back.
So I did.
And now...
Lets just say that he will never hurt another being again.
Ever.
So if you have someone in your life
that you love
look deeper into their soul.
Look deeper into their heart.
And don’t let yourself fall.
For it will happen to you.

Don’t let yourself fall.
